Hi, my name is Susanna Miles and I'm the editor-in-chief of this site, War On Wrinkles.
Sometimes people ask me how I came to build an anti wrinkle site.
The answers is simple - I'm obsessed :)
Apart from the fact that I have a great deal of vested interest in looking and feeling young (what woman doesn't right!) I have spent almost my entire life in the beauty industry.
I studied fashion marketing, worked as a wardrobe stylist and eventually found my way to aromatherapy... all passions!
While studying aromatherapy we were required to learn cosmetic making and from there I created a line of home-spa products.
A lot of people wonder why I didn't pursue that. The products I made were really good afterall.
Here's why....
It just wasn't my thing. Simple as that.
Not only was it a heck of a lot of work but the capital required was beyond huge and the risks involved just weren't "me". Besides, there really are some good options for skin care out there!
And I'd really had enough of the beauty industry. There's just SO much emphasize on "looking" good. I've always felt that real beauty comes from the inside. The outside, well, it's just extra.
And even though there ARE a lot of great creams out there, they're just SO expensive. And, finding one that fits exactly your needs (in your price range) can be super hard.
So, I taught people how to make their own ORGANIC face creams, toners, and cleansers. And even though I think everyone should do it, I get it's not for everyone. That's why I talk about all kinds of products and treatments under the sun!
And that's when I decided to reach even more people on the 'World Wide Web'
So, instead of trying to find my way into the over-stuffed natural beauty niche I'm in the web business.
A bizarre twist of fate, but a fateful one!
I still get to "do beauty", but in a bit of a different way. Besides this web-business stuff is pretty neat, now that I get it :)
But, before it was "neat" it was just confusing. I read about it here and there, but I didn't really get it. It's only after I stumbled upon a company called Sitesell that I was able to learn. And boy-oh-boy thank goodness I did.
They made it easy (well, as easy as it could be) for me to bring my passion(s) to you.
